More than 50 years ago, Steve and Dave Hammers’ father established a commercial construction company in Northern Minnesota. In 1986, Steve and Dave expanded that foundation to Colorado, bringing the Hammers name to the Rocky Mountains. By 1991, Hammers Construction, Inc. (HCI) was established as an independent company in Colorado Springs, CO. Today, Steve Hammers serves as owner and president, continuing the family tradition while leading the company forward with the same passion for design-build construction and commitment to integrity.

Steve Hammers
President
Steve Hammers followed in his father’s footsteps as a young tyke, learning all the knowledge he could in developing a design-build company. Thirty-Five years later, he continues to create a name for Hammers Construction, Inc. while dominating the design-build business in the Front Range of Colorado. Having a keen sense of sales, business development and a passion for construction consulting, Steve sets the company’s professional tone for his clients’ vision during the inception phase of the project design-build process.
Robert Green
Director of Operations
Raised in the heart of the Midwest, Robert Green brings a strong work ethic, steady reliability, and down-to-earth pride to everything he does. His upbringing instilled in him the values of hard work, precision, and loyalty — qualities that have defined his years with Hammers Construction.
Bob is known for his attention to detail and his commitment to getting the job done right the first time. As the Director of Operations, he takes pride in keeping things organized, keeping safety top priority, and making sure every job runs smoothly from start to finish. Bob’s loyalty and commitment to Hammers and his team runs deep and his steady presence has become a cornerstone of Hammer’s excellence.
