Gripstone Climbing Gym

Gripstone Climbing and Fitness is a state of the art climbing facility located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 21,000 SF building houses a fully fit gym, retail space, and 50 ft high climbing walls including an Olympic speed climbing route (the only one in the state). The owners of Gripstone entrusted Hammers to design and build this extremely tall building in the harsh climate of Colorado Springs near the Palmer Divide. To accommodate the sheer height of this building and to create enough open space for the climbing walls red iron metal was used to construct the building. Hammers coordinated the entire construction process to make sure every aspect of construction went as smoothly as possible. After construction, world class climbing course engineers came to install courses on the walls at Gripstone. This is a must see facility where lots of fun is to be had for beginners and expert climbers.
