The walls incorporate metal stud framing, stucco and rock exterior finishes with wood accents, and painted drywall interiors. This retail construction project includes an 8,000 square foot open showroom, a retail sales area, offices, retail parts storage, and a 2,800 square foot service center with four bays.

Extra Space Storage is a nationwide business that came to Hammers Construction to build a new location in Colorado Springs. This storage facility has several indoor and climate-controlled options. Clients can store virtually anything and everything in small areas to large areas for equipment or toys With units as small as 5×5 and as large as 10×30. The facility is completely gated and asphalted.
Gripstone Climbing and Fitness is a state of the art climbing facility located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 21,000 SF building houses a fully fit gym, retail space, and 50 ft high climbing walls including an Olympic speed climbing route (the only one in the state). The owners of Gripstone entrusted Hammers to design and build this extremely tall building in the harsh climate of Colorado Springs near the Palmer Divide. To accommodate the sheer height of this building and to create enough open space for the climbing walls red iron metal was used to construct the building. Hammers coordinated the entire construction process to make sure every aspect of construction went as smoothly as possible. After construction, world class climbing course engineers came to install courses on the walls at Gripstone. This is a must see facility where lots of fun is to be had for beginners and expert climbers.
Private Label Distillery also known as Father and Sons Distillery came to Hammers with a unique proposition. The owners needed a space to house their large distillery and whiskey barrels along with an area to enjoy their creations. PLD has a three-story tasting area and lounge with a whiskey bar on the first floor. They also have a balcony to look out onto the Colorado Springs mountain range and city. Their entire whiskey company runs out of this building.
Maximum RV and Self Storage is a class “A” RV and Mini storage facility. It features 109 fully enclosed RV units with sections overhead doors as well as 160 mini storage units with coiling roll up doors.
