“Lot 2” was designed and built as a spec building with intentions for Mitchell Heating to occupy the space. Mitchell Heating will be in the building near the end of March 2019. The building will house their mechanical division for sheet metal fabrication. The building features a 16-foot Evite and 12-foot x 14-foot overhead doors for optimal moving space. The generous size of the warehouse will be perfect for Mitchell Heatingโs heating ductwork division to operate.

We have had all the seasons this week in Colorado but still made lots of progress on many of our jobs. This week we are featuring progress from Falcon, Colorado all the way up to the Denver Metro Area.

Woodford – Ground – Up Project in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This week at the “Woodford” job there were some weather delays but we were able to get some exterior concrete poured, exterior pack lights and door bumpers installed, as well as interior lights installed and the fire sprinkler pipes started.
CSAA – Tenant Improvement Project in Colorado Springs, CO
This week at CSAA we worked on painting in the hallways. We also installed new caution signs and completed sanding the drywall. There was electrical routed for the closet along with mechanical equipment installation.
NREC – Ground-Up Project in Commerce City, Colorado
North Range Eye Care is in Commerce City, Colorado. This weeks progress includes duct work insulation, electrical rough, damp proofing, and lathing being installed. We also installed backing for cabinets and bathrooms along with the lot being graded and the dirt was hauled off.
Apex Audiology – Ground-Up Project in Colorado Springs, Colorado
There was a weather delay at Apex Audiology this week, but we were still able to get street lighting conduits and underground electrical conduits trenching done. We also completed an inspection and back-filling with compaction. Wood framing was completed including setting interior steel posts. In addition, we prepped for our exterior steel crew.
Gripstone – Ground-Up Project in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Gripstone is moving along with prep and material for fire hydrants, building water, and fire sprinklers. We are pending clearance to proceed, but prepping for thirteen loads of structural steel.

Jewett’s Liquor โRetail Ground Up Project

Jewett Liquor is a retail building in Canon City, Colorado. The building is a pre-engineered metal building spanning 11,700 SF total. It is a retail, liquor store located in Canon City, CO. Some special features include; steel studs, exterior rock detailing and exterior overhangs. We used a clear span metal building interior in order to have an open concept look to accommodate the large and wide display cabinets for the merchandise for sale.

Hammers stepped in and took over this project just shy of the halfway mark. We worked closely with owners Ras and Diego to develop a scope of work and critical path to completion. With our team along with the ownerโs drive and dedicated vision, the project was a huge success. They are open for business and flourishing with whispers of Create Cooking School 2.0 in 2020. We hope to take a class from them soon!
Create Cooking School is a tenant improvement project that Hammers recently finished in Denver, Colorado. At Create Cooking School you can enjoy a glass of wine while you discover new recipes and techniques. Have a great night out with your friends, and learn a little something, too. We hope to take a drive to Denver and take a class from these great people soon!
We are very excited to kick off this new construction project with Peak Gymnastics and Fitness in Falcon, Colorado.
We have worked with the great people at Peak Gymnastics before and are so honored that we will be working on this project for them. Thank you Peak Gymnastics and Fitness for being great clients!
We will be building a new facility in Falcon, Colorado near Colorado Springs with room for an Olympic size trampoline, tumble pits, dance studio, and great open lobby area with room for seating for family of the athletes.
